Student Loans
Southpointe Credit Union offers all types of Student Loans, and applying for a Southpointe Credit Union Student Loan is simple:

1. All students must complete the FAFSA form online at www.fafsa.ed.gov. After processing, the student will receive an award letter in approximately 30 days.
2. After your award letter is received, pick up your STAFFORD or PLUS application at any Southpointe Credit Union office, or call 314-487-5628 to receive your application by mail.
3. Complete your portion of the application and return it to your school financial aid office which certifies your eligibility. Most schools forward the forms directly to Great Lakes Educational Loan Services for processsing. If not, the address will be furnished by Southpointe Credit Union.
4. Once the student loan has been approved by Great Lakes Educational Loan Services, the funds are automatically sent to the school on your behalf.
