Trivia Night Benefits CMN
Southpointe Credit Union hosted its 2nd Annual Trivia Night on April 30th. Fifteen teams took part in the trivia night which helped to raise $3,133. Special thanks go to the St. Louis Town Planner which served as the event's major sponsor. SPCU's Chairman, Rick Oleshak served as emcee. Tricia Reis, SPCU member and former employee, put together the questions for the 10 rounds. Employees and board members worked hard to make the event a success.

A check was presented to Children's Miracle Network's Maria Langston. The proceeds will be evenly divided between Cardinal Glennon Children's Medical Center and St. Louis Children's Hospital.
2011 Scholarship Winner
Justin Bayer was recognized as the winner of the 2011 Sandweg/Ogolin Memorial Scholarship during Southpointe Credit Union's Trivia Night held on April 30th. Justin, a senior at Oakville High School will be to attending the University of Missouri in Columbia this fall. He plans to major in accounting with the goal of becoming a Certified Public Accountant upon graduation.

What You Need to Know about Overdrafts and Overdraft Fees
An overdraft occurs when you do not have enough money in your account to cover a transaction, but SPCU pays it anyway. We can cover your overdrafts in two different ways:
1. We have standard overdraft practices that come with your account (see below).
2. We also offer overdraft protection plans, such as a link to a savings account or an Overdraft Line of Credit, which may be less expensive than our standard overdraft practices. To learn more, ask us about these plans.
